PokeMarketCap.APP
Terms of use
Version 1.8 · updated on October 11, 2026
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the PokeMarketCap app, published by Jordan PELLET (see the legal notice). They supplement Apple’s standard license agreement (EULA). By using the app, you accept them.
2. The service
PokeMarketCap lets you recognize Pokémon cards, organize them in an album and follow market prices published by third parties. The album, scanning and today’s price are free. Market analysis features are reserved for the PokeMarketCap Pro subscription.
3. Prices and market information
The prices shown (PMC price, graded values, trends, indicators) are date-stamped benchmarks, calculated from third parties’ public data, all languages and all conditions combined. They are neither an appraisal of your copy, nor an offer to buy or sell, nor investment advice. Collectible cards are not financial products; their value can go down. You remain the sole judge of your buying and selling decisions.
Sources. The PMC price is calculated by PokeMarketCap from five independent market sources, cross-checked and weighted by reliability, to which are added the sales and values entered by collectors. For a card, its basis comes from sales completed on the European market; the price by language and by condition, from listings for sale; for a card with no European price data, the US market price is converted to euros at the ECB rate and flagged as such; graded card values, from recorded public sales (credits: legal notice). PokeMarketCap is independent of these services: it is neither affiliated with them nor endorsed by them.
4. PokeMarketCap Pro
- Plans: monthly or annual subscription with automatic renewal, or lifetime Founder access (one-time purchase, valid as long as the service exists).
- The price shown in the app is the App Store price in your country; it includes taxes wherever the App Store shows tax-inclusive prices (in the United States, sales tax may be added at checkout). Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same duration, unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple Account settings. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Apple notifies you of a price increase, which requires your consent under the App Store rules.
- Your album and its online backup are never locked, whether you subscribe or not. File exports (spreadsheet, archive, inventory for insurance) are part of Pro; a copy of your data is also available simply by asking, free of charge (see the privacy policy).
5. Your account and your content
You are responsible for the information you enter (costs, sales, values). By sharing a photo of a card, you declare that you have the right to do so and grant PokeMarketCap a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it as that card’s image, until you ask for its removal. Photos are checked before publication; any inappropriate photo is rejected.
6. Acceptable use
It is forbidden to extract the app’s data in bulk, to circumvent the subscription, to disrupt the service or to publish unlawful content.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided with care but with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of third-party data (prices, images, card data). Within the limits permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the information shown, nor for indirect losses. Remember to export or back up your album. No clause limits your mandatory consumer rights, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its code, its interface, its name and its visual identity belong to the publisher. Pokémon and the card names and images belong to Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK and The Pokémon Company; they are used only to identify the cards. PokeMarketCap is an independent app, not affiliated with these companies. Any rights holder can request the removal of content at contact@pokemarketcap.app.
9. Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from the My account screen. The publisher may suspend an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence. In the event of a dispute, contact us first; you can also turn, free of charge, to a consumer mediator.
11. Changes
The terms may change along with the service; the applicable version is the one online on the date of use. Version 1.8, dated October 11, 2026.
